Acne Light Therapy
Our Acne light therapy treatment includes our red-light therapy full body lights emit two specific wavelengths, 660nm (Red) and 850nm (NIR0) in equal proportions to deliver the perfect combination of light therapy. It also includes Blue light therapy. Our lights combine 450-460 nm (Deep Blue). Blue light effectively helps alleviate this common skin condition. Blue light kills the acne-causing bacteria known as Propionibacterium or P acne, which cause inflammation. The added presence of infrared light (heat) causes the oil glands to shrink in size, leading to less oil in the skin and less bacteria. With up to 6 adjustable lights we are able to target areas of inflammation that are giving you trouble. We will also use a light mask and use several colors to help calm and balance the skin. We finish with an Oxygen rich toner to moisturize and soothe.
